Joint 75th birthday celebration with music

In 2022, a number of the city's musicians will turn seventy-five, and they have chosen to celebrate together.

Today, the birthday boys and girls will be handing out gifts in the form of the music that has meant so much to them.

The idea came about 15 years ago, when they were all 60, and since then it has become a recurring event. Optimistic as we are, we expect to see many more reunions.

The band pays homage to jazz music's historic hits. From New Orleans to the enduring swing music that used to fill jazz club dance floors.

This Wednesday is bound to be a day of celebration in the company of good friends and colleagues.
