Two distinctive voices from the Danish jazz scene unite in a new duo
With a background in critically acclaimed bands like Girls in Airports, Travelling Tribes, Caktus and Køs, the two siblings Maria and Victor Dybbroe have created a sensuous sound universe that blends strong melodic lines with the impulsive energy and circular rhythmic sequences of free jazz.
They move intuitively and playfully from the improvised to the planned – from the acoustic to the manipulated.
Their first single In Our Garden was released on December 30, 2021, on Barefoot Records, and more music is on the way.
