Young pianist with Inspiration and Experience from the Jazz Capital of the World

Pianist Rasmus Sørensen moved to New York in 2018 and has since become an internationally recognized artist for his accessible yet innovative sound both as a musician and composer.

Now, the audience in Aarhus gets the chance to experience a young pianist who comes directly from New York with a suitcase full of musical inspiration and newly acquired experience from concerts and collaborations in the jazz capital.

Rasmus Sørensen is current with his debut album Traits from last year, which he recorded with his regular trio, from which he brings bassist Jon Henriksson to Musikhuset Swings.
