Mais Uma plays Brazilian-inspired jazz. The quintet has one critically acclaimed CD (Caminho do Norte, 2007) and a new one on the way. The band came into being four years ago and since then has developed a highly personal concept of what happens when jazz, Brazil and Scandinavia meet. Mais Uma writes its own music, which it performs in a playful, complex, improvised, funky fashion. The band has played lots of concerts in Denmark. It has also toured Brazil once and China twice.
