A Tom McEwans Concoction 

Tom McEwan and Oliver McEwan, along with pianist Mark Chemnitz, deliver an afternoon of anecdotes, crooner numbers, and whatever else Tom McEwan comes up with. The Tom McEwans concoction – as they call it. For this concert, the trio is reinforced with Rasmus Bøgelund on trumpet.

Tom McEwan came to Denmark in 1968 and taught music and English until he made his professional breakthrough in the theater world, both as an actor and musician, including in the group Klyderne with Jess Ingerslev, Jesper Klein, and Lykke Nielsen (1946-2006) on numerous Danish stages as well as on TV.

Oliver McEwan is one of Denmark's most popular and busiest musicians. He has played and toured with the likes of Medina, Kylie Minogue, Blue, Atomic Kitten, Nik & Jay, Burhan G, Rasmus Seebach, Rick Astley, 7 Aurelius, Cutfather, Bryan Rice, Orange, Ida Corr, Deekay Music (Sugababes, JLS, Lemar), Morten Breum, GL Music, and Bombay Rockers.

Mark Chemnitz graduated from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Aarhus. He has played, toured, and composed with and for several major artists, including Thomas Buttenschøn, Mc Clemens, Dawn Joseph (UK), and his own band Soul Glo. In addition, he has taught ensembles at the music conservatory and has directed music for several TV shows and recordings.

Mark is currently responsible for the music in Front of House. He has a passion for upcoming styles and growth initiatives and coaches for the organization for rhythmic amateur music under KODA, PLEKTOR, and ORA.
