A Young Talent and two Seasoned Veterans Perform

On this beautiful afternoon, you can experience one of the country's most promising young jazz talents when guitarist Pelle Von Bülow perform at Salling ROOFTOP together with bassist Peter Vuust and drummer Morten Lund.

Pelle von Bülow has already left his mark as an established and respected guitarist on the Danish jazz scene. His style is inspired by iconic guitarists such as Wes Montgomery and Geroge Bensen. It also includes elements of blues music, for which he holds a special fondness. In 2020, he received the Tivoli Jazz Prize, and previously the the Bent Jædig Memorial Scholarship. In addition, he has played with artists such as Jesper Thilo, Rodney Green, Bernt Rosengren, Christina von Bülow, and many more. 

Peter Vuust is a professor at Aarhus University and the Royal Academy of Music, head of the Center for Music in the Brain, and is also one of the country's busiest sidemen. He has been featured on more than 100 albums and with international jazz stars such as Tim Hagans, Mal Waldron, Ted Curson, Jukkis Uotila, and many more. He is known for his groovy and responsive backing and extremely melodic soloing. Peter has also been nominated for a DMA for his CD September Song.
