Modern Trio Jazz Inspired by World Music and Pop

The trio is characterized by intensity and interplay. The music is inspired by contemporary jazz, world music, and pop, yet the musicians remain firmly rooted in jazz tradition. The material is a mix of original songs and jazz standards.

Jesper Bo Knudsen is a versatile drummer with many years of experience in the Danish music scene. He plays in Uffe Steen's trio and has trained many young drummers in his work as a teacher at the Royal Academy of Music in Jutland.

Peter Friis is one of the most utilized bassists in Aarhus and has played with Jesper Thilo, Finn Odderskov, Trio Before, and many others.

Jens Christian Kwella is currently working on his latest album GuitarRama Jazzical with new music for electric and classical guitar. He boasts an extensive resume and has played with stars such as Randy Brecker (US), Marc Johnson (US), and Eliane Elias (BR).
