Lively and Catchy Swing Jazz

The South American guitar duo Ricardo Pellican (Argentina) and Bjarke Lund (Ecuador-Denmark) play lively and catchy swing jazz on guitar, inspired by styles such as jazz manouche, bossa nova, and bebop.

With a wide repertoire of standards and original compositions, they guarantee a varied show with an irresistible and infectious energy.

They have been performing together since 2018 at festivals in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Ecuador with great responses from the audience. They are looking forward to meeting the Aarhus crowd and performing at CasaV58 during Aarhus Jazz Festival.

With more than 50 years of experience, Ricardo Pellican is one of the greatest exponents of guitar jazz in Argentina. He has played with jazz luminaries such as Joe Pass, Oscar Aleman, and Herb Ellis. 

Bjarke Lund was born in Denmark but has lived in Ecuador since 2010, where he has established himself as the leading musician in the jazz manouche style.
