The repertoire includes well-known and lesser-known jazz standards, spirituals, and gospels interpreted with an unmistakable blue tone and outgoing energy that matches the musicians' backgrounds.

Fronted by James Loveless, the Loveless Blue Jazz Quintet consists of five competent musicians from the best of the Aarhus jazz and blues scene. Over the years, they have worked in bands with Gnags, Lilholt Band, Mike Anderson, Big Gumbo, Shades of Blue, and Grarup All Stars.

Their musical versatility and freedom is on display as the Loveless Blue Jazz Quintet interprets great classics such as God Bless the Child, Georgia On My Mind, and All of Me with dynamic nerve and loving respect.
