Traditional American Jazz with a Danish Touch
The Danish trio Ottarson / Akrofi / Hagelskjær plays great jazz music in the traditional mainstream American jazz style but with an added personal touch from the iconic sound universe of Horsens / Århus / Lemvig.
There is always a lot of energy when Ottarson / Akrofi / Hagelskjær play - the saxophone lines are thrown around the room while the bass is pounding away. Despite the band's cool, expressionless mimicry and very introverted presence and behavior on stage, their concerts are guaranteed to be filled with warmth and love, which always makes for a great experience.
