Jazz legend performs at Musikhuset during Aarhus Jazz Festival

Lee Ritenour is known by all music lovers. Now, the people of Aarhus have the pleasure of seeing him at Musikhuset during this summer's jazz festival. Here, the legend appears on stage in the Great Hall in the company of pianist and composer Dave Grusin.

Lee Ritenour is a true music addict. Over the course of 35 years, he has recorded about 42 albums while playing as a session guitarist roughly 3,000 times for acts as diverse as Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins, B.B. King, Pink Floyd, and Simon & Garfunkel.

The GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist is one of the pioneers of jazz-funk, but has played everything from rock, blues, as well as jazz.

Today, Lee Ritenour is a living legend who has had guitar models at both Ibanez and Gibson named after him.
