Young and original trio jazz

Bjørn Nitschke Trio is an Aarhus-based trio consisting of Bjørn Nitschke on guitar, Gustav Lauridsen on double bass, and Jens Højbøge Mosegaard on drums.

Their music is a blend of their own compositions as well as more or less well-known songs written by other composers. Stylistically, the group draws inspiration from Paul Motian, Bill Frisell, Jakob Bro, and Thelonious Monk, and their approach to music is strongly influenced by improvisational element.
