A meeting between folk music and jazz
This concert in Skt. Lukas Kirke marks the beginning of a new collaboration between violinist Andreas Tophøj and pianist Pojken Flensborg.
Andreas Tophøj has his beginnings in folk music, while Pojken Flensborg is rooted in jazz. In this project, the duo will explore the similarities between the two genres, using Pojken Flensborg's compositions as a starting point. However, there will also be excursions into other styles – not least classical music.
This will be an atmospheric afternoon with high ambitions – in every way.
