Trio jazz featuring a talented singer as soloist

During Aarhus Jazz Festival 2022, Tir na nÓg presents a series of concerts in the format trio plus one - in the form of a guest soloist.

During the week, a handful of established names, and some of the most exciting talents from the Danish jazz scene, will perform.

This afternoon, the trio of brothers Frederik (piano) and Mikkel Vuust (drums), as well as Thorbjørn Stefansson (double bass), will be joined by singer Sophia HP.

Sophia HP is currently releasing her debut album Carry On, available on April 29, 2022. The young singer and composer invites the listener into an intimate universe where strong composition and storytelling are paramount.

Sophia HP has made her mark in the Copenhagen and Aarhus songwriting scene and currently studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus.
