The fragility of jazz in harmony with a modern indie sound

After having been buried in working on new music, I Just Came From The Moon finally released the new album Ånd ud, which has garnered great reviews and significant airtime on P8 Jazz.

In the past, the Aarhus quintet has been praised for its ability to combine the heartfelt fragility of jazz with a more modern indie sound. With the new album being a natural follow-up to their 2017 debut Hoax, the band is more than ready to showcase the new music. 

I Just Came From The Moon won Ung Jazz in 2016 and have since played packed gigs across Denmark, but have also noticed a growing interest from abroad. So far, this has culminated in two shows at the Oslo Jazz Festival, a showcase at the EFG London Jazz Festival in 2018, and an exclusive concert at the world's biggest jazz fair Jazzahead in Bremen in 2019.

The new album is released on the legendary and now resurrected record label April Record (Kalaha, Little North, OTOOTO, Kresten Osgood).
