Between improvisation and composition
Onbeat is an experimental jazz sextet based in Aarhus led by Beatriz Gijón.
The sextet explores the space and interaction between improvisation and composition from a contemporary and personal approach.
Onbeat cultivates the movement between unusual, "quirky" beats and no beats at all.
After Onbeat's performance, there will be an open jam session for improvisers of all kinds.
