Milton Nascimento in Swedish

Josefine Cronholm and Steen Rasmussen Kvartet dive into Brazilian singer Milton Nascimento's vast sea of songs and make the mirror pool swing in Bossa-Nordic steps. 

The resulting album and concerts, Milton på Svenska, take audiences on a journey back to 1970s Brazil and the music of the Clube de Esquina music collective.

With Milton på Svenska, Cronholm and Steen Rasmussen Quartet translate and reinterpret the music legend's songs about life, melancholy, love, and longing. At the same time, they add a wonderful Scandinavian twist that can send a dreaming Dane's thoughts on a journey to Sweden in the east and Brazil in the west.
