Young Jazz trio with a Taste for Experimentation

Frederik Blæsild Vuust is a composer, pianist, and singer living in Aarhus, Denmark. Frederik has his musical roots in traditional jazz and free improvisation. Through his work, Frederik explores experimental, textual, and theoretical expressions in improvised music.

During Aarhus Jazz Festival, Frederik curates the afternoon music program at Tir na nÓg. For this concert, he plays in a duo with guitarist Alfred Lykke. 

Alfred Lykke is a guitarist and composer. He is active on the experimental and freely improvising scene, including with his duo with saxophonist Maria Dybbroe and the art-pop groups Natlyst and iomfro, with whom he played for the Crown Prince Couple's Stjernedryspris in 2021.
