Tribute to a legendary singer and songwriter

Amy Winehouse Tribute is a newly launched concept band (this evening a duo) celebrating the legendary singer and songwriter on the tenth anniversary of her untimely death.

The front figure is the charismatic singer Samara Bahrami, who blends songs and short stories together to bring the audience closer to Amy Winehouse. 

Amy Winehouse Tribute is ready to play on Danish stages to pay tribute to the fantastic work that singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse created before her death in 2011. She was known for her own very special sound with a mix of jazz and soul, reminiscent of the African American singers of the 1960s.

Amy Winehouse Tribute plays a selection of tracks from the first two albums Frank and the breakthrough Back To Black as well as a few from Lioness: Hidden Treasures, which was released after Amy Winehouse's death.

Amy Winehouse's music and sound are brought back to life in a way that is completely true to the source material, while the duo adds its own musical subtleties and interpretations. In between the songs, there will also be stories of Amy Winehouse's life and destiny.

- The audience can expect more than just a concert with songs by Amy Winehouse. They also get a holistic experience, where the phenomenon Amy Winehouse is seen through the music, stylistic, and small stories about her music, family, relationships, and decay, says frontman Samara Bahrami.

Amy Winehouse died at the age of just 27 from a mixed cocktail of alcohol and drugs. She lived a turbulent life, which was followed by tabloids, with unhappy relationships and pervasive abuse. At the same time, during her short life, she managed to become one of the best-selling singer / songwriters of her time. Among other things, she was named the best female singer of the year in the UK in 2007 and received a Grammy Award in the US in 2008 in five categories, including best new artist, song of the year, and recording of the year.


In 2021, Tricksters Inc. presents a portrait concert series with several new, exciting, and ambitious projects. Here, as an audience, you can expect a great and solid concert experience, where light projections and live visuals get you closer to significant artists through music and lyrics. Centered around music and featuring some insanely strong groups, you are invited to a sensory bombardment of an experience. During Aarhus Jazz Festival, you can experience Zetterlund Tribute, Amy Winehouse Tribute, and Dexterity, as well as the story of The Jazz Crooner.
