Back to the roots

At this solo performance, young Aarhus-based pianist and vocalist Emil Otto invites audiences all the way back to the roots of jazz, blues, and country.

Emil Otto has previously lived in New Orleans and completed an apprenticeship with legendary pianist Carl Sonny Leyland. He is currently working on his debut release.

This will be old-fashioned and authentic with a twist of rebellious young energy - so come inside and feel the ragtime, stride piano, and young crooner vocals up close.

Emil Otto can be experienced in several contexts during the jazz festival, including with his own group Emil Otto & his NOLA FOUR and Amy Winehouse Tribute.
