Piano magic in a league of its own

This band has visited the Aarhus Jazz Club several times, but this will be the first time in the company of a  unique Swedish piano magician. There is talk of piano magic is of the highest caliber: swing and balance, which draws parallels to Oscar Peterson.

Ulf Johansson Werre can call himself a pianist, trombonist, composer, arranger, and teacher. Over the years, he has been involved in countless musical contexts in Sweden and internationally. In addition, he has been featured on numerous recordings.

In Aarhus, his musical showmanship can be experienced in the company of a tightly reorganized Kansas City Stompers, which in 2021 celebrates its incredible 70th anniversary under the leadership of the legendary 83-year-old Niels Abild.
