Superhero music & superhero drawing = Super concert!

Admiral Awesome plays "Kapow-jazz" – an energetic, playful, and explosive cocktail of quirky compositions and free improvisation. With an anarchic approach to instruments, genres, and material, the music unfolds like a superhero story, supported by the virtuosic live drawings of artist Anders Frang

The children's jazz concert is a different kind of open and free concert, which tells a story along the way in a captivating musical sequence. Kids will be involved in the Kapow universe and allowed to help form the next steps in the superhero story, which is told on the big screen as the music goes wild.

Admiral Awesome has played a number of school concerts with great success, including full-on Kapow jazz.

All the musicians are Aarhus-based and play in many different bands. 

The concert is for children and childlike souls from 6 years and up.

Look forward to a different children's concert in the historic Helsingør Theater from 1814.
