Rottejazz is an atypical jazz band with an old-school set-up.

For more than a decade, the three young Molboes have developed a mosaic style of music that draws inspiration from the folk music of Andalusia, Romania, and Sweden, from Django Reinhardt to Paco De Lucia to Ali Farka Touré.

In their own words, Rottejazz plays at "flea markets, motorsports, and weddings". However, in 2020, they were the opening act on Velvet Volume's national tour and also performed at conventional venues.

The three childhood friends respectively work as composers, roofers, and novelists but still get together in the same rehearsal room in an old stable on Mols (where the rats live).

You will experience a warm contact between the musicians who push their instruments to the limit, mixing in ingredients of swing and Latin rhythms. A concert with Rottejazz is both an alternative form of expression and an easily accessible jazz experience.
