Captivating trio jazz

In this unique constellation, guitarist Jens Christian Kwella has brought together two talented young musicians from Aalborg. Both have just completed soloist classes at the Royal Academy of Music and share a common understanding of music and a virtuoso mastery of their instruments.

The trio's repertoire consists of Kwella's compositions, which move from simple and groovy tunes to complex rhythmic and harmonic compositions. They are united through ensemble, interaction, and the joy of making music, through which the trio guarantees an immersive experience.

Jens Christian Kwella is a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music and has released seven albums. Reviewers have written:

Matias Fischer is a rising star in Danish jazz and has just completed the soloist class at the Academy. He was nominated at DMA Jazz 2021 for Release of the Year and has composed grooves for Danish Radio's Big Band and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.

Mads Houe is an up-and-coming bassist and also an excellent composer and arranger. He has recently released the critically acclaimed album Moderne Messe and has arranged for Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, among others.
