Since vocalist Malene Mortensen broke through in the 00s, she has been a prominent figure on the Danish jazz scene. With an extensive back catalog and hundreds of concerts, she has built a large fan base both in Denmark and abroad.

This evening, a star-studded cast of musicians provides crisp backing to Mortensen's wonderful voice. The repertoire is a good mix of Malenes own songs and some of her favorites from the standard jazz repertoire.
