Airy trio jazz – with backup
Strings Trio is an Aarhus-based band that explores the airy music that is heavily influenced by musicians like Paul Motian, Ben Monder, and Bill Frisell.
Trumpeter Thomas Fryland, who has been making his mark on the Danish jazz scene for over 30 years, will be backing them up at this concert. Throughout his career, he has held a permanent position in DR Big Band and played with the likes of Benny Golson, Mike Stern, Lee Konitz, Pat Metheny, and Maria Schneider.
