Well-known tunes in inquisitive and playful interpretations

Jazz is diverse. The genre can go in many directions because it's mostly about the approach to the music. In jazz, we meet each other with open ears and a willingness to follow each other through thick and thin on stage.

At this concert, Camilla Dayyani has assembled a cast of familiar musicians who will perform well-known tunes from the standard jazz repertoire. However, the band approaches the music with an open mind and a playful spirit, so that the songs reinvent themselves.

On guitar, we have the hard-swinging Morten Haugshøj, on bass the legend Jens Jefsen, on trumpet the inquisitive Claus Højensgård, and on vocals Camilla Dayyani.

Camilla Dayyani is known from many different groups. She has released two albums of her own music, two albums with the trio Hess / Dayyani / Emborg, and is currently working on a new release with a piece for a larger ensemble.

In addition, she has provided the voice for Sangskattekisten, one of the biggest Danish-language YouTube successes, which presents songs from the Danish children's song treasury, accompanied by cute animated videos.
