Swinging jazz led by an experienced trumpeter

Rasmus Bøgelund has been on stage since he was nine years old. The first years were in the family band with his father. Since then, he and his trumpet have been right behind some of the biggest Danish and international artists.

Rasmus has appeared on countless records and, in addition to a gold record with Poul Krebs, has been nominated for more than 15 Danish Music Awards and several foreign prizes.

Rasmus has also written music for TV and film, having delivered music to DR's radio as well as title music for some hit series on DR1.

In addition, Rasmus has been employed by Klüver's Big Band and later Aarhus Jazz Orchestra for almost 15 years - first as a trumpet player, later as artistic coordinator, and the last three years as program manager.
