A cinematic and dreamlike musical journey

The multicultural Copenhagen-based quartet Klanglys was formed in 2019 by German guitarist, singer, and composer Johannes Käsbach.

Klanglys is characterized by a mix of instrumental and vocal tracks composed and arranged with respect for different styles, which delicately blend together: from jazz and world music to post-rock and classical.

Klanglys offers a sensitive mix of colorful instrumental arrangements with a modern touch and refreshing vocal-based melodies. Their love of jazz harmonies, rhythmic ostinato figures, and natural soundscapes make for pleasant and catchy tunes.

The band uses a wide range of musical colors with references to the different cultural backgrounds of the individual members, and the lyric-based melodies deliver support and contrast to the complex arrangements.
