A String of Well-Known and Original Jazz Tunes

Klüver, Hjorth & Akrofi play jazz standards and original tunes by the likes of Dexter Gordon, John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, and Hank Mobley.

Jens Klüver, former leader of Klüver's Big Band for 35 years, has now devoted himself to the saxophone, having played with Esben Tjalve in duo, trio, and quartet formats for the past five years.

Dan Hjorth, a trained pianist from the Royal Academy of Music, is an active musician and teacher and has recorded with Jacob Djursaa and Jacob Danielsen on his CD Jacob D's Tukaan.

Philip Akrofi is a bassist studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Jutland. A new and exciting musician who plays with the Martin Vollertsen Trio.
