A Rare Meeting of Pop and Jazz

This evening, Danish singer Karl William will perform with Peter Vuust, Nikolaj Hess, and Mikkel Vuust at Tir na nÓg.

Over the past few years, Karl William, who is from Aarhus, has become known for his releases: Døende (2014), which was ranked 8th on the Tracklist, Placebo (2015), and the hit Om igen (2017), which was frequently played on the radio. With its good energy and Karl William's characteristic voice, it's a song that most people will recognize.  

In 2015, he was awarded the P3 Talent Award for "his strong debut", and the following year he received the P3 Award. In 2022, Karl William released the album REN, where he invited various artists as features.  

Over the past year, Karl William and Peter Vuust have developed a unique collaboration, where Karl William's outstanding vocals and music are allowed to unfold in a jazz format together with Vuust's trio, which consists of some of the country's most talented jazz musicians.
