An Outstanding Crooner and a Fantastic Trumpet Player

This is the best way to describe Rasmus Bøgelund, who with his voice and trumpet creates both a lively and melancholic universe with a twinkle in his eye.

The two experienced musicians Jens Christian Kwella and Peter Friise will serve both Danish and American jazz classics in tasteful arrangements.

Rasmus Bøgelund has backed up many of the biggest Danish and international names on trumpet. He has recorded and toured Denmark and the rest of the world with John Scofield, Peter Erskine, Kurt Elling, Lukas Graham, Poul Krebs, and many more. 

Rasmus Bøgelund has been nominated for more than 15 Danish Music Awards and numerous international awards. He has been employed in Klüvers Big Band and later Aarhus Jazz Orchestra for almost 15 years, first as a trumpet player, later as artistic coordinator, and for the last three years as program manager.

The concert includes a delicious brunch in the restaurant on level 8: 

• A glass of bubbles or juice on arrival.
• Sourdough bun with butter and Danish farm cheese.
• Homemade jam.
• Skyr with oat granola and apple compote.
• Organic eggs and bacon.
• A sweet treat.
• Freshly brewed coffee or tea.
