Swinging and Charming Vocal Jazz

Mette Elbeck, who has sung with The BigBand's vocal quartet, will be leading this band. A demanding role for a singer who, in that context, is on an equal footing with the horn section. This small group format offers more room for expression.

This evening, she will be backed by Jens Søndergaard's swinging alto sax, Frederik Vuust's elegant and creative piano playing, Niels Wilhelm Knudsen's solid and melodic double bass, and Ulrik Bisgaard's swinging and dynamic drums.
