Jazzy versions of gems from the French songbook
The duo has been playing together for a number of years in all kinds of formations and released the CD Månestrålen in 2014 with its own interpretations of old Danish songs.
This afternoon, however, the duo will not play Danish tunes or American jazz standards. Instead, they will take on the French songbook.
Thus, their audience may look forward to jazzy versions of French classics performed by icons like Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Charles Trenet – and perhaps even with some detours to classical composers such as Eric Satie and Claude Debussy.
