Three members of Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, Saxophonist Michael Bladt, and pianist Mads Bærentzen, have joined forces to present their take on some Blue Note gems that have had a major impact on the history of modern jazz.

It will be groovy, atmospheric, and melodic when the three gentlemen play their interpretations of some of the immortal classics released on the legendary label over the years.

Names like Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Art Blakey, Cannonball Adderley, and many many more on the almost endless list of great jazz musicians have all made amazing and genre-defining releases on the label. All at a time in music history when jazz was part of both popular music as well as a hip lifestyle, and the number of jazz clubs and concerts around the world, and not least in New York, reached unprecedented numbers.
