Atmospheric Ambient Jazz

Featherdrop is the musical laboratory of Thomas Munk-Petersen and Stig Halskov. The two jazz musicians, who have played together in countless contexts over two decades, joined forces on this project in the autumn of 2021 and released their first EP Epilogue on 26 January 2024.

Featherdrop's music draws on the Nordic ECM sound and the American jazz tradition. It invites reflection and contemplation and is suitable for lovers of atmospheric ambient jazz. They will bring along two sought-after jazz acts to this concert: Eyal Lovett and Thomas Fryland. The band plans to record a new album with this line-up in 2024.
