Sydhavnen will be buzzing with world-class improv jazz when Share Improfest returns for the fourth year in a row. Look forward to concerts with some of Denmark's strongest improv acts in a unique meeting with some European musicians from several exuberant improv collectives

Share Improfest is an exchange and networking platform whose main purpose is to connect European improv musicians and to present the essence of work to a curious audience.

Improfest at Aarhus Jazz Festival will take place in the buzzing, creative environment of Sydhavnen, where the musicians will fill rooms and courtyards with mind-blowing musical experiments over four days;

The participating musicians mingle in new constellations during the day to create brand new music. In the evening, a selection is presented in Wahlberg Studio, which with its many mysterious rooms and machines is a perfect setting for alternative music and unique audience experiences;

It will be an unpredictable and unique opportunity for an intimate encounter with the cream of the contemporary European improvised music scene.
