Unique Concert with Aarhus Jazz Club, Emil Otto, and this Year's Artist Residency Performers

This unique concert is part of Aarhus Jazz Festival's artist residency 2024, where musicians Emil de Waal and Gustaf Ljunggren can be experienced in many different musical contexts as guest artists at the festival. The two very versatile musicians have previously worked on fusing traditional jazz with a modern sound, including in the band Old News with, among others, Nulle.

Great songs will be front and center at this concert, delivered by vocal star Emil Otto, who also masters the New Orleans piano style. Behind the title "Århus Jazzklub All Stars" are four experienced musicians with roots in bands such as River Band, Jazz Vegaz, Bourbon Street Jazzband, and others. 

Aarhus Jazz Club will only perform this one concert during the 2024 festival, so look forward to a very special show that pays tribute to classic jazz while hopefully showing that there is still room to put the music together in new and surprising ways.
