Improvised Music with Nuance, Color, and Nordic Landscapes

It is a spontaneous meeting between two musicians who share a deep love for improvised music.

The two surnames are singer Laura Zöschg and drummer Johannes Berg. They met in Aarhus and have played together in various contexts, although they have yet to perform as a duo.

Laura expresses and explores her music through her voice's nuances, colors, and sounds. Laura plays concerts all over Europe with different bands and projects based primarily in Denmark, such as “LOA”, “Efecto Mpemba” and “ROOM trio”. Originally from a small village in South Tyrol, Italy, she now lives in Copenhagen.

Johannes Berg is a versatile drummer and an active musician in the Danish and Scandinavian jazz and improvisation scenes. Johannes also writes music for several different bands and orchestras, heavily inspired by Nordic nature and with clear references to traditional Nordic hymns.
