The Lines Between the Written and Unwritten
This quartet tests the boundaries between the written and unwritten. The written is the work of Jens Balder, who was inspired by his time in Spain - hence quatro - and the unwritten is played by all four members: Jens Balder (trombone and voice), Gorm Askjær (guitar), Jens Mikkel (double bass), and Thomas Eiler (drums).
In addition to playing together in other constellations, the four have worked in many other contexts with other local musicians and a few international names in Denmark and other parts of the world.
