Swinging Saxophone Trio with Classics in the Spirit of Hard Bop
In SAM Trio, Aarhus-based saxophonist Mads Lundh teams up with his musical companions Anton Tancredi and Samuel Winter in an explosive trio cocktail. The three musicians met at a folk high school in Sweden and have since found great inspiration and enjoyment in each other's work.
The band cultivates and challenges the familiar sound of the saxophone trio through a swinging repertoire of classics in the spirit of hard bop, arrangements with a modern touch of rhythmic quirks, and original songs with catchy melodies.
