A Real Family Concert with Kongklave in Musikhusparken

Kongklave is back in Musikhusparken with their magical children's jazz at Musikhuset Swings. Take your kids by the hand and experience a world where drums and percussion create an adventurous universe of sound and rhythm!

Kongklave consists of drummer Andreas Skamby and percussionist Dea Marie Kjeldsen, who share a common enthusiasm for cultivating a rhythmic universe of finesse and raw power. Join them on the lawn in front of Musikhuset as they play dynamic arrangements inspired by the world's drum traditions to the delight of both young and old. 

The music is full of melodies, tight arrangements, and more lively, playful passages. The duo has an incredibly wide and exciting collection of instruments ranging from classic drum kits and congas to children's pianos, glockenspiels, singing bowls, and dog bowls, meaning there are no limits to what the duo can use to create musical moments that will make children and adults alike dance and sing along. So grab your drumsticks and join us for a wonderful children's concert in Musikhusparken on the lawn in front of KISSA. Anything can happen, and it can only be good!

Musikhuset Swings at Aarhus Jazz Festival

True to tradition, Aarhus Jazz Orchestra and Musikhuset Aarhus invite you to Musikhuset Swings at Aarhus Jazz Festival.

Musikhuset Swings takes place from July 12-19 with great jazz performances in and around Musikhuset and in front of KISSA in Musikhusparken from Denmark and abroad. Look forward to lots of great free live jazz, ticketed concerts with sublime jazz names, and lots of good vibes.

Musikhuset Swings is a continuation of Ridehuset Swinger, which Aarhus Jazz Orchestra has organized for more than 30 years, and which moved into Musikhuset in 2022 due to the new construction in front of ARoS.
