The Riis / Elkjer Hammond Trio is an organ trio based in Berlin. The members are students at the renowned conservatory, Jazz Institut Berlin. With two Danes and one German in the lineup, they try to bring an international flavor to the rich traditions of jazz.
The trio's repertoire focuses on jazz standards and songs they love. They want to create a concert experience where the audience feels included with familiar songs they can groove to.
