Rinaldi / Akrofi / Skovhus is a trio with a fantastic combination of international experience and deep roots in the Danish jazz scene. The three musicians all have impressive backgrounds, and their passion for tradition, innovatio,n and improvisation is clear.

Pasquale Ivan Dante Rinaldi brings a unique Italian approach to jazz with his training from the Nordic Master in Jazz and the soloist class at The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus / Aalborg. His debut album Short Story Long, released in 2024, highlights his creative talent, and his collaborations with both Danish and Italian jazz musicians have created a beautiful fusion of the two cultures' musical traditions. His background and experience make him a strong leader for the trio.

Philip Akrofi, who is also one of the most prominent young forces in the Danish jazz scene, has found his place as a jazz musician with a swinging touch and intimacy that engages both audience and fellow musicians. His studies at EUjam and experience at several of Europe's most renowned jazz schools give him a broad musicality that fits perfectly into the trio's dynamic.

Christoffer Skovhus adds the final piece with his impressive international education and his role as a driving force in the Aarhus jazz scene. His ability to arrange jazz jams and concerts shows his skill as both a musician and an organizer, which is crucial to maintaining and developing such a dynamic music scene.
