Nikolaj Bangsgaard Kvartet (DK)

Nikolaj Bangsgaard is a young, up-and-coming drummer based in New York City, where he is finding and developing his voice and approach to the drums.

For this concert, he brings with him a young band of international-class musicians based in New York, Basel, and Copenhagen. In addition to Nikolaj, the band consists of guitar phenomenon Mads Oldenskov, who, despite his young age, has already performed with the likes of Kendrick Scott and Wolfgang Muthspiel, and highly sought-after bassist Thorbjørn Stefansson, who is currently making a name for himself in the New York scene.

The band will present a selection of Nikolaj's favorite songs as well as original compositions written on the other side of the Atlantic.
