Hein Westgaard and Margaux Oswald explore acoustic improvisation as a living and unpredictable force, where melodic lines and textural nuances are woven together to create beautiful, unexpected moments. Westgaard's creative use of both acoustic and electric guitar, together with Oswald's mastery of the piano, creates an exciting interplay that builds on deep listening and a shared curiosity, resulting in music that is both spontaneous and thoughtful.

Margaux Oswald is a pianist of French-Filipino origin, born in Geneva and currently residing in Copenhagen. Margaux has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old, and is now committed to the art of free improvisation. Her album Dysphotic Zone released on Clean Feed Records was selected as one of the best solo albums of 2022 by New York City Jazz Record and was selected as one of the top 10 international albums of the year by Jazz.pt. She is one of the new members of the artist-run label and collective ILK in Copenhagen.

Hein Westgaard is a Norwegian guitarist, improviser and composer, currently living in Copenhagen. In addition to his own genre-crossing Hein Westgaard Trio, he can be heard in the post-minimalist cult band Ototoi, in the international sound art quartet Ensemble Ektos, in duo with Lithuanian double bassist Aurelijus Uzameckis or New Zealand pianist Alexander Ventling, in freely improvising ad hoc constellations or in the acoustic solo guitar format, where he focuses on his own instrumental songs in the fingerpicking tradition.
