Kathrine Windfeld has toured 20 countries with her ensembles and in 2024 won the "Live Name of the Year" award at the Danish Music Awards Jazz. The Guardian (UK) describes Kathrine Windfeld's compositions as a rare combination of power and elegance: a colorful mix of sophisticated harmonic passages, physical grooves, and poetic ballads in explosive arrangements.

Today, we meet Windfeld and her hand-picked band, which she has led for over 10 years. The audience at Musikhuset Swings can expect a charismatic and modern big band of international class with razor-sharp ensemble parts and star soloists.
