For almost four decades (1950-1990), Sarah Vaughan was one of the dominant vocals in the jazz world, and in tribute to her career, Randers Big Band has put together a powerful swinging program with the talented jazz singer Keshia Christiansen in the lead.

Come and relive some of the biggest and most swinging hits when Randers Big Band and Keshia Christiansen take the stage at Musikhuset Swings during Aarhus Jazz Festival 2025.

Randers Big Band has existed since 1980, and is considered one of the country's finest orchestras - especially in the "classic" swinging big band style. Randers Big Band has regularly hosted big Danish and international jazz names, both as guest soloists and conductors.

Over the years, Randers Big Band has performed at numerous jazz festivals in Denmark and abroad, and has been on concert tours in Sweden, Finland, the USA, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada, and the UK.

The concert with Randers Big Band and Keshia Christiansen is one of many concerts you can look forward to experiencing at Musikhuset Swinger during Aarhus Jazz Festival 2025. The Aarhus Jazz Orchestra and Musikhuset invite you to a whole week of jazz.
