Topografi (DK)

Topografi is a momentary constellation brought together by drummer and composer Johannes Berg.

The music is based on improvisation and strong emotions, with written elements composed especially for the occasion.

This is the second time that Topografi will be performing live, and this 2.0 edition presents an all-star line-up of musicians who have been introduced to Johannes Berg's music in one way or another.

A little bit about Johannes:

Johannes Berg is a versatile drummer and an active musician in the Danish and Scandinavian jazz and improvisation scenes.

In addition, Johannes is a composer in several different orchestras and bands, for which he writes music strongly inspired by Nordic nature with clear references to the traditional Nordic hymns.

Johannes Berg's playing is deeply rooted in his focus on sound and timbre. For him, it is essential to play music that is relevant and important.
