Samara Bahrami Covers Amy Winehouse

The charismatic singer Samara Bahrami pays tribute to the legendary British singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse.

The band consists of Kristoffer Lysgaard on drums, Sebastian Gall on bass, Mikkel Uttrup on guitar, and Eline Engholm on vocals, piano, and more. Together, they revive some of the amazing songs that singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse created before her untimely death in 2011.

Amy Winehouse is known for her unique sound that blends jazz and soul, similar to the sound of African-American girl groups such as The Ronettes and The Surpremes in the 1960s USA. Often spiced with breakbeats from early hip-hop.

The concert consists of songs from the two albums Frank and the breakthrough Back To Black as well as from Lioness Hidden Treasures, which was released after her death. All complemented by stories about Winehouse's amazing and tragic life and fate.
